Elemento Dragons Slot (Mini Review)

Elemento Dragons slot
Elemento Dragons slot

Elemento Dragons is a slot from Fantasma Games set in a fantasy landscape where elemental dragons circle above a large grid, each representing fire, water, earth, and wind. The visuals are vibrant and polished, with an open field backdrop and animated dragons positioned alongside the reels, tracking progress through elemental meters. While the theme adds a bit more personality compared to its predecessor, it's still clearly built on the same foundation, with the presentation doing most of the work in differentiating it. The game uses a large dual-grid setup and focuses on chaining wins through elemental interactions.

The gameplay is played across a 9x9 structure, split into an outer Element Area and an inner 7x7 Play Area. Wins are formed using cluster pays, requiring at least five matching symbols. Bets range from €0.2 to €800, with an RTP of 96.13% and high volatility. Standard symbols include colored gems for lower payouts and dragon icons for higher rewards. Cascading mechanics drive the action, removing winning clusters and allowing new symbols to fall into place, continuing sequences as long as wins keep forming.

The core mechanic revolves around Element Wilds. When part of a winning cluster, these activate their respective abilities at the end of the spin. Fire adds multiple wilds to the grid, water transforms positions into matching symbols, earth removes low-paying symbols, and wind clears surrounding symbols. If no Element Wild is involved in a win, there's a chance one will spawn in the Element Area, adding further potential. Multiplier symbols can also appear, adding values between x2 and x10 that are combined and applied to the total win after the sequence ends.

Free spins are triggered by activating all four elemental types within a single spin. The bonus begins with a set number of spins based on collected elements and introduces a growing win multiplier that increases after each cascade. Multiplier symbols remain active here as well, stacking with the bonus multiplier for increased potential. Feature Buy options allow direct access to either random elemental bonuses or the full free spins round.

Elemento Dragons is an ok game on its own, but it struggles to justify itself as a follow-up. The core mechanics, grid structure, and overall gameplay loop are nearly identical to the original Elemento, making this feel more like a visual reskin than a true evolution. The addition of multiplier symbols is a welcome improvement and does add some extra punch, particularly during longer cascades and in free spins. However, beyond that, there's very little new here. If you enjoyed the original, this will still deliver the same satisfying avalanche-driven gameplay, but for anyone expecting meaningful innovation, it falls short.
